One of my favorite things about the holiday season is getting to dust off the holiday play list on my youtube account without feeling like a crazy person! Granted, the play list is a work in progress as we add to it every year but the fact still remains that it is a collection of songs chosen by all five members of our family that we love to listen to while we decorate, wrap, clean or even just work. So, to share the holiday excitement, we've decided to put together a list of ten of our favorite holiday songs. In an attempt to share as much happiness as possible, we have purposefully left out any songs listed on our previous list, Original holiday songs you may have missed.
Note: These songs are some of our own personal favorites and are listed in no particular order.
1. Little Drummer Boy by PTX
2. I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas by Gayla Peevey
3. Winter Wonderland (there are so many versions,it's hard to pick, but this one is preformed by Bing Crosby)
4. Shake up Christmas by Train
5. Carol of the bells by Peter Hollens
6. Last Christmas by Daren Hayes
7. All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey
8. Jingle bell rock (again, there are just so many to pick from!)
9. Full of cheer by Home Free (This is a squeal to another original song called Champagne taste (on a beer budget) )
10.Rudolph the red nosed reindeer (the original)
Of course, there are some honorable mentions we'd like to share as well! These are songs that we would have added to the top 10 list...if we wanted the list to go one forever!
